•Markets in India and the US will be closed for holidays. Chinese mainland markets will re-open after CNY.

TUE 20 FEB

•Earnings: BHP, Singapore Airlines, Samsung Life, Walmart, Home Depot and Barclays.

WED 21 FEB

•Earnings: Nvidia (after close), Rio, Woolworths, HSBC, Hang Seng Bank.

•Fed minutes from its Jan 30-31 meeting.

•Bank Indonesia is expected to keep rates on hold at 6%.

•US House China committee chair Gallagher will be leading a delegation to Taiwan.

THU 22 FEB

•US initial jobless claims(exp 218k) and existing home sales will be reported.

•The Bank of Korea is expected to keep policy rates on hold at 3.50%.

•Earnings: Fortescue, UOB, Lenovo.

•The ECB minutes of its 25 Jan policy meeting.

FRI 23 FEB

•Earnings: Galaxy Entertainment, Deutsche Telekom and Allianz.

•Markets in Japan will be closed for a holiday.
